AHUSS vs the Food Gap & Inflation
The FALL Campaign
We continue to watch our neighbors struggle with the current level of inflation increasing food costs and reducing the purchasing power of stagnant wages. It is increasingly difficult for low-income households to afford nutritious food. Inadequate adjustments to the social safety net allow many to fall behind or worse, all the way through. This leaves vulnerable populations without sufficient purchase power or locally available nutritious food options.
Food insecurity is real for many households, and a crisis for the unhoused.
AHUSS intends to make a difference.
